Fae Roleplay Guide
Explore the Fae race in Shattered Realms with original Bleach roleplay lore, defining traits, character guidance, and talent progression.
Fae | Overview
Difficulty
Easy to start, hard to perfect 4/10 (new players), 7/10 (advanced play) Fae reward creativity. If you enjoy illusions, misdirection, social leverage, and “the scene is my weapon,” you will have a great time. If you only want direct brawls… you’ll feel softer.
General
The Fae are ancient, older than kingdoms, older than borders, older than most recorded memory. They wear masks (literal and metaphorical): forms, names, signatures, even identities. They slip into societies like a rumor and leave like a dream.
Strengths
- Illusions and perception warfare - Escape / slipperiness / repositioning - Social manipulation and story leverage - Great for: tricksters, spies, court drama, “friendly menace” characters
Weaknesses
- Pure brawl matchups can be rough if you play fair and straight - You need to *describe* your magic well for it to land - You live or die by creativity and consistency
Playing As
Fae often feel “more RP oriented” because their power is leverage: a lie at the right time, a fear in the wrong ear, a door that shouldn’t be open. Your wings can take any form you wish, fairy wings, a scarf-like mantle, a ribbon halo, but they are a real part of you, not a costume.
Fae | Traits
Talent Highlights
Fae trees support: - Glamour Veil: illusions as summons (misinfo tools) - Bewilder: precision warfare (aim disruption) - Trickster Flow: reposition after actions - Escape Artist: cumbrance escape / vanish moment - Whispering Lies: slow enemy next major action - Shapeshifter: stance-like size shifting (risk/reward)
Fae “Rules of Fun”
If you want your Fae to hit hard: - Don’t brute force everything. - Make the opponent choose between two bad options. - Use terrain, crowds, light, sound, and emotion like instruments.
Fae | Notes
RP Prompts
- Do you enjoy chaos… or are you enforcing balance through mischief? - What mask do you wear most often, and why? - What would make you stop “playing” and fight for real?
